In this post on 'The Physics of Finance' Mark Buchanan takes us back to a longstanding paradox in Economics: that of Productivity. Productivity may well one of the most puzzling paradoxes and concepts in all of Economics, and it will maybe continue that way, even with all the technological advancements.
